Works well but be careful
The tools work as advertised, but you need to be gentle. I bent one of the thinner needles because I pushed too hard. Just take your time and it will work great.

Essential maintenance tool
I keep this kit next to my printer. The stainless steel quality is top-notch, and the different sizes cover all my hotends from MK8 to V6. No more heating up the nozzle for hours to clear jams.

Perfect fit for E3D V6

Saved my print head!

Great for beginners
As someone new to 3D printing, clogs were terrifying. This kit made fixing them easy and cheap. The instructions could be better, but there are plenty of videos online showing how to use them.

Good value kit
The needles are very thin and flexible, perfect for poking out soft residues. The drill bits are sturdy. I wish the case was slightly more robust, but for the price, it's excellent.

A: Absolutely. The mechanical action of the drill bits and needles is effective on hardened ABS, PLA, PETG, and other common filaments that cause blockages.
Q: Will these drill bits fit a 0.2mm nozzle?
A: Yes, the kit includes a 0.2mm drill bit specifically designed for cleaning 0.2mm nozzles. Please ensure you select the correct size to avoid damaging the nozzle aperture.
Q: What is the length of the cleaning needles?
A: The cleaning needles are approximately 100mm in length, providing sufficient reach to clear obstructions deep within the heater block and heat break.
Q: Are the needles reusable?
A: Yes, the stainless steel needles are durable and reusable. However, if a needle becomes bent or damaged during use, it should be replaced to prevent scratching the internal walls of your hotend.
Q: Can I use these while the nozzle is hot?
A: We recommend letting the nozzle cool down slightly to around 100°C-150°C before inserting metal tools to prevent accidental burns or slipping, unless you are using specialized heat-resistant gloves and have experience.
