Good quality but requires careful installation
The build quality is excellent, very sturdy. Just be careful not to overtighten during installation as the threads are precise. Works great with my KINGROON printer now.

Perfect upgrade for high-temp printing
Switched to this titanium heat break to print Polycarbonate and the difference is night and day. No more heat creep clogging my nozzle. The M7 thread fit perfectly on my modified E3D clone.

Great value for a DIY kit

Solved my ABS jamming issues
I was constantly getting jams when printing ABS at 240C. This red copper and titanium combo manages the heat zone perfectly. Highly recommended for anyone pushing temperature limits.

Durable and reliable
Been using this for three months straight with nylon filament. Zero signs of wear or degradation. The machining on the threads is smooth and precise.
Q: Will this reduce stringing on PLA prints?
A: While primarily designed for high-temperature materials, the improved thermal isolation can help reduce oozing and stringing on PLA by maintaining a sharper temperature gradient, though proper retraction settings are still key.
Q: Is this compatible with the standard E3D V6 hotend or only clones?
A: This heat break is designed with standard M7 threading, making it compatible with genuine E3D V6 hotends as well as most clones like KINGROON and Qipang that follow the V6 specification.
Q: How difficult is it to install for a beginner?
A: Installation requires basic mechanical skills and tools. You will need to disassemble your hotend. We suggest watching a tutorial specific to your printer model before attempting the swap to ensure correct assembly.
Q: What is the maximum continuous temperature this can handle?
A: The titanium alloy and red copper construction allows for stable operation at continuous temperatures up to 300°C, suitable for most high-temperature filaments including PC and Nylon.
