Excellent upgrade

Switched to this from a generic brand and the difference in temperature consistency is noticeable. My PLA adhesion has improved significantly.

Works but instructions were vague

The part itself works fine, but as a beginner, I struggled a bit with the wiring connections because the included guide was very basic. Had to watch a YouTube video to be sure.

Perfect replacement for my CR-6 SE

Precise fit and finish

Good quality, minor fan noise

The build quality feels solid and prints are coming out great. The only reason for 4 stars is that the cooling fan is slightly louder than the original one, but it doesn't affect print quality.

Q: Is this compatible with the CR-6 Max or just the SE?

A: This specific model is designed exclusively for the Creality CR-6 SE. It is not compatible with the CR-6 Max due to different mounting dimensions.

Q: What is the maximum temperature this hotend can handle safely?

A: The standard brass nozzle included is rated for temperatures up to 260°C, suitable for PLA, PETG, and TPU. For higher temperatures, we recommend upgrading to a hardened steel nozzle.

Q: Does this come with the silicone sock for the heater block?

A: Yes, this complete assembly includes the silicone protective sock pre-installed on the heater block.

Q: Can I use this with abrasive filaments like Carbon Fiber?

A: While the assembly will function, the stock brass nozzle will wear down quickly with abrasive materials. We suggest swapping the nozzle for a hardened steel one before printing with carbon fiber or glow-in-the-dark filaments.

Q: Do I need to level the bed again after installing this?

A: Yes, whenever you replace the hotend assembly, it is highly recommended to re-level your build plate and adjust the Z-offset to ensure perfect first layer adhesion.
