Easy swap
I was worried about installing this myself, but the magnetic connector makes it incredibly easy. Took me less than 10 minutes to swap out the old one. Prints look crisp immediately.

Solid performance
Works exactly as advertised. I've printed over 2kg of glass-filled nylon without any clogging issues. The only reason for 4 stars is the price, but the durability justifies the cost.

Perfect for abrasive filaments
I switched to this hardened steel hotend specifically to print carbon fiber PLA, and it has been flawless. No wear on the nozzle after several spools. The installation on my A1 mini was straightforward.

Future-proofing my printer
Bought this as an upgrade before I even started printing abrasive materials. It gives me peace of mind knowing I won't have to replace the nozzle often. Highly recommended for A1 owners.

Essential for serious printing
If you plan on doing any engineering materials like ABS or ASA, this is a must-have. The temperature consistency is spot on, and the hardened steel ensures longevity even with frequent use.

Great upgrade, slightly heavier
The print quality is excellent, especially with high-speed settings. Just note that it is slightly heavier than the stock brass version, so I had to re-run the motor noise calibration, but otherwise, it works perfectly.
Q: How does this affect print speed compared to the stock hotend?
A: The flow rate is comparable to the stock hotend. You should not experience a decrease in print speed; in fact, reliability at high speeds with abrasive materials is significantly improved.
Q: Does the package include a spare nozzle?
A: The package includes the integrated hotend assembly with one pre-installed 0.4mm hardened steel nozzle. Spare nozzles are sold separately if you need different diameters later.
Q: Can this handle pure PEEK or PEI filaments?
A: This hotend supports temperatures up to 300°C. While it can handle some high-temp materials, pure PEEK often requires higher temperatures and an all-metal hotend configuration beyond this specific assembly's standard rating. Please check specific filament requirements.
Q: Do I need to update the firmware after installing this?
A: While not strictly mandatory, we highly recommend running the 'Motor Noise Calibration' and ensuring your firmware is up to date to optimize performance with the new assembly weight.
Q: Is this compatible with the original Bambu Lab A1 as well as the Mini?
A: Yes, this integrated hotend assembly is fully compatible with both the standard Bambu Lab A1 and the A1 mini models.
