Essential for serious printing
If you own an X1C or P1P and plan to print anything other than basic PLA, this is a must-have. The detachable design makes swapping nozzles incredibly fast compared to the stock version.

Solved my clogging problems
I was constantly clogging with glass-filled PETG on the standard hotend. Since installing the 3.0 upgraded assembly, I have printed over 2kg of abrasive material without a single jam.

Great upgrade but runs hot
The build quality is excellent and handles high temperatures well. Just make sure your part cooling fan is working perfectly as the assembly does get quite warm during extended prints at 280°C.

Solid performance
Very robust construction. The hardened steel nozzle holds up well against wear. My only minor complaint is that the initial calibration took a few tries to get perfect, but once set, it works great.

Best investment for my printer
The temperature stability is noticeably better than the original unit. I can now confidently print engineering materials that require consistent high heat without worrying about degradation.
Q: Can I use this with TPU filament?
A: Absolutely. While the hardened steel is primarily marketed for abrasive fibers, it works excellently with flexible filaments like TPU as well, providing smooth extrusion and reliable retraction.
Q: Does this come with a 0.4mm nozzle installed?
A: Yes, the package includes a pre-installed 0.4mm hardened steel nozzle. However, the assembly is designed to be compatible with other standard Bambu Lab nozzle sizes if you wish to swap them later.
Q: Is this compatible with the original Bambu Lab X1?
A: This specific assembly is designed for the X1C and P1P models. While it may physically fit the original X1, firmware differences might prevent optimal performance. We recommend checking the official compatibility chart before purchasing for the non-C X1 model.
