Seamless integration with my X1 Carbon

Good value, slight color variation

Q: Can I print directly on a glass bed without glue?

A: Yes, PLA Basic typically adheres well to a clean textured PEI plate or a cool glass bed without adhesives. Ensure your bed is level and cleaned with isopropyl alcohol for the best results.

Q: Does the spool come with a reusable box?

A: Yes, all Bambu Lab 1kg spools come packaged in a sturdy, reusable cardboard box designed to keep the filament dry and organized when not in use.

Q: Is this filament suitable for outdoor use?

A: While this PLA Basic has high toughness, standard PLA is generally not recommended for prolonged outdoor exposure as it can degrade under direct UV sunlight and high heat. For outdoor applications, we suggest our ASA or PETG filaments.

Q: Does this filament work with non-Bambu Lab printers?

A: Yes, you can use this filament on other 1.75mm FDM printers. However, the RFID automatic parameter recognition will only function with compatible Bambu Lab printers. You will need to manually input the temperature settings for other brands.

Q: What is the shelf life of this filament if kept sealed?

A: If stored in its original sealed packaging with the desiccant intact, the filament has a shelf life of approximately 2 years. Once opened, we recommend storing it in a dry box or resealing it tightly to prevent moisture absorption.
