Solid components
The build quality feels premium. The hardened steel nozzle is great for carbon fiber blends. Instructions could be slightly more detailed for beginners, but if you have done basic maintenance before, it's straightforward.

Saved my printer
Thought I needed to replace the whole toolhead, but just swapping this hotend kit fixed the error codes. Great value compared to buying a full assembly. Shipping was fast too.

Perfect replacement for my X1C
My original hotend started clogging frequently with abrasive filaments. This kit was a direct fit and solved the issue immediately. The ceramic heater heats up very quickly and maintains temperature stability perfectly.

Good quality, easy install
Installation took about 15 minutes following the official guide. Everything fits snugly. I deducted one star only because the silicone sleeve was slightly tight to get over the block, but it settled in fine after the first heat cycle.

Works flawlessly on P1S
Installed this on my P1S yesterday and ran a calibration print immediately. First layer adhesion is perfect and no oozing issues. Very happy with this purchase.

Essential upgrade for high-temp printing
I print a lot of polycarbonate and this V3.0 kit handles the heat much better than my old setup. The thermistor readings are accurate and consistent. Highly recommend for anyone pushing their machine to the limit.
Q: Is the thermistor calibrated or do I need to run PID tuning?
A: The thermistor is factory tested. However, as with any hotend swap, we recommend running a flow calibration and optionally a PID tuning in the printer settings for optimal results.
Q: Can I use this for printing PLA without changing any settings?
A: Absolutely. While designed to handle high temperatures for engineering filaments, it works perfectly fine with PLA, PETG, and ABS using your standard profiles.
Q: Is this compatible with the original Bambu Lab X1 non-Carbon version?
A: Yes, this hotend kit is fully compatible with the original X1, as well as the X1C, P1P, and P1S models.
Q: What tools are required for installation?
A: You will generally need the hex key provided with your printer and possibly a pair of tweezers to handle the connector wires. No specialized tools are required.
Q: Does this come with a 0.4mm nozzle or do I need to select the size?
A: This specific kit typically comes with a standard 0.4mm hardened steel nozzle pre-installed. If you require a different diameter, please check our separate nozzle listings.
