Superior thermal conductivity
The synthetic stone material heats up faster than the stock component in my testing. Prints are finishing slightly quicker due to better heat recovery between layers.

Works well but scary to install
The part works great now that it is installed, but I was very nervous taking apart my hotend. Maybe a video tutorial link should be included in the box.

Perfect replacement for my A1
My original heating element started fluctuating after six months. This replacement fit perfectly and the temperature stability is back to normal. The ceramic thermistor seems very responsive.

Good quality but installation takes time
The build quality of the synthetic stone aluminum plate is excellent. However, be prepared to spend about 30 minutes on the installation if you aren't familiar with hotend disassembly. Instructions could be clearer.
Q: Do I need to recalibrate the flow rate after installing this?
A: Yes, we strongly recommend running the flow rate calibration and vibration calibration in the printer settings after replacing any hotend components.
Q: What tools are required for installation?
A: You will typically need a hex key set (usually 2.0mm and 2.5mm) and a pair of tweezers to handle the small connector wires safely.
Q: Does this come with thermal paste pre-applied?
A: No, thermal paste is not pre-applied. You must apply a thin layer of high-temperature thermal paste to the thermistor contact point during installation for accurate readings.
Q: Can this handle ABS filament printing temperatures?
A: Yes, the assembly is rated up to 300°C, which is sufficient for ABS, PETG, PLA, and TPU filaments commonly used on the A1 series.
