The nozzle itself is high quality and prints well. However, the shipping took longer than expected. Once installed, it performed exactly as described.

No more clogging issues
I was constantly clogging my brass nozzle with recycled PLA. Since switching to this hardened steel assembly, I haven't had a single clog. Highly recommended for frequent printers.

Great upgrade, slightly heavier
The print quality is excellent and the silicone sleeve fits snugly. Just be aware that the added weight of the hardened steel might require slight tuning of your pressure advance settings, but overall a solid upgrade.

Perfect for abrasive filaments
I switched to this hardened steel nozzle specifically for printing carbon fiber PLA. It handles the abrasion perfectly without wearing down like brass nozzles. The installation on my A1 mini was incredibly fast.
Q: Do I need to recalibrate my printer after installing this?
A: Yes, we recommend running the standard flow rate calibration and pressure advance calibration in the printer menu after swapping the hotend to ensure optimal print quality.
Q: Does this come with a 0.6mm nozzle option?
A: This specific assembly comes standard with a 0.4mm hardened steel nozzle. We offer separate nozzle tips in other sizes if you wish to swap them later.
Q: Is this compatible with the original Bambu Lab A1 or just the mini version?
