Perfect for my two-story home
I was struggling with dead zones in the upstairs bedrooms. This Tenda A9 solved the problem instantly. Setup took less than two minutes using the WPS button. The signal now reaches everywhere I need it to.

Solid performance for 2.4GHz devices
Works great for my older laptops and smart home devices that run on 2.4GHz. It penetrates walls better than I expected. Just remember this model does not support 5GHz bands.

Easy setup and stable connection
I am not tech-savvy, but I managed to set this up without any help. The connection has been stable for three weeks now, and my video calls no longer drop when I move to the backyard.

No more buffering!
My internet speed in the kitchen was terrible before. After installing the A9, I can stream music and browse recipes without any lag. The compact design fits nicely behind my furniture too.

Great value for the price
For the cost, this is an excellent extender. It boosted my WiFi range significantly. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that the LED lights are quite bright at night, but I just put a small piece of tape over them.

Fast shipping and works as advertised
Arrived the same day I ordered it, which was amazing. Plugged it in, followed the simple instructions, and now my smart TV streams 4K content without buffering. Highly recommend!
Q: What is the maximum coverage area for this device?
A: Under ideal conditions, the A9 can extend coverage up to 200 square meters. However, actual range depends on wall thickness, interference from other electronics, and the strength of the source router.
Q: Will this reduce my internet speed?
A: As with all wireless repeaters, there may be a slight reduction in throughput because the device must receive and retransmit data. However, the A9 is optimized to minimize this loss while maximizing range.
Q: Do I need to download an app to set this up?
A: No app is required. You can set it up easily by pressing the WPS button on both your router and the A9, or by connecting via a web browser to the configuration page.
Q: Can I use this to create a separate guest network?
A: Yes, once configured, you can access the web management interface to set up specific SSIDs or manage connected devices, though it primarily mirrors your existing network structure for seamless roaming.
Q: Does this extender work with a 5GHz router?
A: The Tenda A9 operates specifically on the 2.4GHz band. While it can extend the network from a dual-band router, it will only repeat the 2.4GHz signal, not the 5GHz one.
