Good replacement part
Lost my original cap and this was a great quick fix. The expandable hole made it easy to adjust the tension. Looks very stock.

Perfect fit for my Telecaster
This switch cap fits perfectly on my modified Tele. The cross insert core grips the switch shaft tightly without slipping. Great quality for the price.

Exactly what I needed
Simple, effective, and cheap. If you need a replacement for a standard Strat or Tele switch, look no further.
Q: Is the material durable enough for heavy touring?
A: Yes, the cap is made from high-impact ABS plastic which is standard for original equipment manufacturer (OEM) parts and withstands regular touring use well.
Q: Does the package include the metal switch mechanism?
A: No, this package includes only the plastic switch cap with the pre-installed cross insert core. The metal switch mechanism is sold separately.
Q: Will this fit a standard import Stratocaster copy?
A: Yes, as long as the switch shaft diameter is standard (approx. 3mm), the expandable hole and cross insert should accommodate most import and USA models.
Q: How do I install this if my old one is stuck?
A: Simply pull the old cap straight off the switch shaft. Then, align the cross insert of the new cap with the shaft and push down firmly until it seats completely.
Q: Can I use this for a 3-way switch on a Les Paul?
A: This cap is designed specifically for the thin shafts found on Strat/Tele style toggle switches. Les Paul switches usually have a different shaft thickness and threading, so it may not fit securely.
