Perfect vintage warmth
These pickups transformed my budget guitar into a gig-ready instrument. The Alnico 5 magnets provide that classic mid-range punch without being too muddy. Highly recommended for blues and jazz players.

Authentic vintage vibe
If you are looking for that gritty, raw P90 sound from the 50s, this is it. The metal braided wire adds a nice touch of aesthetics under the control cavity cover as well.

Solid performance
Good output level and nice harmonic content. The highs are crisp but not piercing. I deducted one star only because the mounting screws included were slightly shorter than I needed for my specific pickguard.

Great tone, slight hum
The sound is fantastic and very dynamic. As expected with single-coils, there is some 60-cycle hum, but the tone quality makes up for it. The braided wire looks authentic too.

A: Absolutely. While often used in the neck, many players enjoy the bite and clarity of this Alnico 5 P90 in the bridge position for rock and country styles.

A: Yes, the package includes the pickup, mounting screws, and springs necessary for installation.
Q: What is the actual DC resistance range?
A: While we aim for 8.2k Ohms, natural variations in hand-winding mean you can expect a range between 7.8k and 8.5k Ohms.
Q: Will this fit a Gibson Les Paul Junior?
A: Yes, this is a standard soapbar P90 size which fits most Les Paul Juniors and Specials. Please verify your specific model year routing just to be sure.
