Solid component
Does exactly what it says. The 8-leg terminal layout is standard and easy to work with. The black cap looks sleek on my dark finish guitar.

Better than stock switches
Replaced a cheap imported switch with this one and the difference in tone clarity is noticeable. The contacts seem much tighter. Very happy with this purchase.

Perfect replacement for my Strat build
This Korean-made switch feels incredibly solid. The soldering points are well-spaced, making it easy to wire up my SSS configuration without any shorts. The click is crisp and positive.

Great quality, caps fit snugly
Excellent build quality for the price. I used the white cap on my cream pickguard and it matches perfectly. Took off one star only because the nut was a bit tight to thread initially.

Smooth action, no crackling
Installed this in an SSH project guitar. The transition between positions is smooth, and there is absolutely no static or crackling noise. Highly recommend for DIY builders.
Q: Is this switch pre-wired or do I need to solder it?
A: This is a raw component with 8 soldering lugs. You will need to solder your pickup wires and output jack connections to the terminals yourself. No pre-wiring is included.

Q: Will this switch work for a HSS pickup configuration?
A: This switch is specifically designed for SSS (Single-Single-Single) and SSH (Single-Single-Humbucker) configurations. While it might physically fit in an HSS guitar, the wiring logic is optimized for the neck/middle/bridge selections typical of SSS/SSH setups.
