Best budget alto mouthpiece I've owned
I've tried mouthpieces costing three times as much that don't perform this well. The consistency between my Eb and Bb setups is impressive. The ligature included is decent, though I swapped it for my favorite metal one.

Good for jazz, maybe too bright for classical
The build quality is solid and the bakelite feels durable. It produces a very edgy sound which is perfect for my gigging band, but I found it a bit too aggressive for my classical repertoire. Still, a great secondary piece.

Records beautifully
Used this in a studio session yesterday. It cuts through the mix without sounding shrill. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the tip rail needed a tiny bit of smoothing out of the box, but easily fixed.

Incredible projection for the price
I was skeptical about the copper powder claim, but this mouthpiece really sings. The high notes on my tenor sax pop out effortlessly, and the tone is surprisingly warm despite the bright baffle. Great value.

A bit difficult for beginners
As someone who has only been playing for six months, I found this mouthpiece required a lot of air support. The sound is big, but I struggle to control the dynamics. Might be better suited for intermediate players.
