Worth every penny

Solid upgrade for R9 style guitars

A: As true humbuckers, they excel at canceling 60-cycle hum. While no passive pickup is completely silent under extreme gain, these are very quiet compared to single coils.

Q: Will these fit a standard import Les Paul without modifying the cavity?

A: They should fit most standard cavities, but some import guitars have slightly smaller routing. You may need to do minor woodworking or shim the pickup rings.

Q: What is the string spacing on these pickups?

A: These feature standard Gibson spacing, which is approximately 1.90 inches (48mm) center-to-center on the pole pieces.

Q: Are these pickups wax-potted to prevent feedback at high volumes?

A: Yes, these Gibson 1959 reissue humbuckers are lightly wax-potted to control microphonic feedback while maintaining acoustic resonance.
