Good but needs break-in
The mouthpiece felt a bit stiff at first, but after playing it for a week, the tone opened up nicely. The ligature screws are a little tight, so be careful not to overtighten them.

Kids love it
Bought this for my daughter's school band. She says it's much easier to blow into than her old plastic one. The case would have been a nice addition, but overall very happy.

Solid build, nice copper accent
The copper ring adds a nice aesthetic touch. The response is decent for the price point. The reed that comes with it is okay, but I usually swap it out for my preferred brand after a few days.

Great value for beginners
I bought this set for my student who just started learning the alto sax. The mouthpiece produces a warm tone, and having the ligature and cap included saved me a trip to the music store. Highly recommended for starters.

Excellent tone projection
Surprised by how well this projects in a big band setting. The medium tip opening gives enough resistance for control while allowing for dynamic range. Great purchase.
