Great value for the price
Solid ebonite construction that feels durable. The response is good for a beginner piece. The cap fits snugly, though the ligature screws could be slightly smoother. Overall, a great starter kit.

Perfect for my son's first clarinet
My son just started band class and needed a reliable mouthpiece. This 4C model is exactly what his teacher recommended. It produces a clear tone immediately and was very easy to assemble with the included ligature.

Easy to play right out of the box
I bought this as a backup for my student clarinet. The 4C facing makes it very forgiving for high notes, which helped me practice my scales without squeaking. Highly recommend for students.

Good intonation
Helped correct some intonation issues my daughter was having with her old plastic mouthpiece. The ebonite material seems to warm up faster and produce a richer sound. Very satisfied.

Excellent replacement part
Lost my original mouthpiece cap and ligature, so I bought this whole set. The mouthpiece itself is surprisingly good quality for the price. The black finish looks professional too.
