Easy installation
I'm not very tech-savvy, but I managed to install this in under 15 minutes. No drilling required, just drop it in the soundhole and plug it in. The controls are intuitive and easy to reach while playing.

Perfect balance of tone and tuning accuracy
I installed this on my dreadnought yesterday and the difference is night and day. The 5-band EQ lets me cut the mud out of the low end without losing warmth, and the built-in tuner is surprisingly accurate compared to my pedalboard unit.

Clear sound reproduction
The clarity on the high strings is excellent. I play a lot of fingerstyle, and the TEQ-5 captures the nuance of my picking dynamics better than the stock pickup did. The 12-tone temperament ensures my open chords ring true up the neck.

Solid upgrade for entry-level guitars
Bought this to upgrade my beginner acoustic-electric. It made the guitar sound much more professional. The tuner is fast and locks on quickly. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking to improve their live sound without buying a new guitar.

Great value for gigging musicians
For the price, you really can't beat having a tuner and pickup in one unit. It saves space on my headstock. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that the battery compartment is a bit tight to open, but once it's in, it stays put.

Good pickup, tuner could be brighter
The sound quality through my amp is fantastic, very natural. However, the LED display on the tuner is a bit dim if you are playing on a dark stage. I have to cup my hand around it to see the needle clearly.
