Good, but maybe too closed for me

I tried the AL3 expecting a brighter sound, but it felt a bit too resistant for my style. It is well-made and authentic, just not the right fit for my embouchure. Returning to try an open tip model.

The Gold Standard for Alto Sax

Great sound, needs breaking in

Bought the A28 model for my student. The sound is classic Vandoren, very focused. It felt a bit stiff at first but opened up nicely after a week of playing. Good value for a French import.

Nice upgrade from stock mouthpiece

My sax came with a generic plastic mouthpiece. Switching to this Vandoren made a huge difference in tone quality. It was easier to produce a full sound even as a beginner.
