Solid performer

Great sound quality for the price
Installed this on my old dreadnought and the difference is night and day. The tap plate adds a nice percussive element without overwhelming the string tone. The anti-howling feature works well in small venues.

Excellent modification kit
Everything needed was in the box. The tap plate sensitivity is adjustable which is a huge plus. My guitar now sounds professional on stage.

Perfect for live gigs
I play in a loud band and this pickup cuts through the mix beautifully. The noise reduction is effective, and I haven't experienced any feedback issues even at high volumes.

Good unit, installation takes patience
The sound is clear and the tuner is accurate. Just be very careful when cutting the 301 hole; measure twice. Once installed, the controls are easy to reach during performance.

A: Yes, the built-in tuner is fully chromatic, allowing you to tune all standard and alternate guitar tunings accurately.
Q: Does this kit come with a template for cutting the 301 hole?
A: Yes, the package includes a precise drilling template to ensure the 301 hole is cut correctly for the control panel.
Q: How do I activate the anti-howling notch filter?
A: The phase switch button often acts as the quick fix for feedback. For specific frequency notching, hold the phase button while adjusting the mid-frequency knob until the feedback subsides.
Q: Can I install this without removing the strings completely?
A: While it is technically possible to loosen them significantly, we highly recommend removing the strings entirely to safely cut the hole and route the wiring without damaging the guitar finish.
Q: Will this fit a classical guitar with nylon strings?
A: This system is primarily designed for steel-string acoustic guitars. While it might physically fit, the saddle width and pressure requirements may not be optimal for classical guitars.
