Great value for students
Bought a set of Gen 3 for my daughter's art class. They blend well and don't bleed through standard sketchbook paper too much. Very happy with the purchase.

Best budget marker brand
As a professional illustrator on a budget, these are my go-to. The color consistency between batches is impressive, and they last a long time.

Love the dual tips
Having both a fine point and a brush tip in one pen saves so much space in my pencil case. The Gen 5 skin tones are a game changer for portrait work.

Smooth and Vibrant
I've used Copic before, but these Finecolour markers offer similar quality at a fraction of the price. The ink flow is consistent and the colors are vibrant.

Perfect for Anime Sketching
These markers are incredible for manga art. The skin tone range in the newer generations is so realistic, and the brush tip allows for perfect line variation.

Good blending capabilities
The alcohol base makes blending very easy. I did notice the caps can be a bit tight sometimes, but overall the marker performance is excellent.
Q: Can I mix different generations together?
A: Absolutely! Since all Finecolour markers use an alcohol-based formula, you can seamlessly blend colors across different generations without any issues.
Q: Are these markers refillable?
A: Most Finecolour Generation 4 and above models are designed to be refillable. Please check the specific product listing for confirmation on the generation you are purchasing.
Q: How many colors are in the full skin tone set?
A: The dedicated Skin Tone set typically includes 24 distinct shades ranging from very fair to deep dark tones, suitable for diverse character designs.
Q: Do these work well on watercolor paper?
A: Yes, they work beautifully on watercolor paper. The alcohol ink sits well on the textured surface, allowing for multiple layers without damaging the paper fibers.
Q: What is the difference between Gen 3 and Gen 5?
A: Generation 5 features an improved nib design for better durability and an expanded color palette, particularly in the skin tone and pastel ranges, compared to Generation 3.
