Sturdy and long-lasting
We have been using these for three months of daily skating in the driveway. There is very little wear visible compared to the generic brand we tried last year.

Essential safety upgrade
If your child's brake is looking bald, get this immediately. It's an inexpensive way to extend the life of the skates and ensure safe stopping power.

Perfect replacement for worn-out brakes
My daughter's skates were slipping because the old brake was smooth. This new rubber block gripped immediately on the pavement. Installation took about 5 minutes with a standard hex key.

Does the job well
Fits standard kids' skates as advertised. The rubber is slightly softer than the original equipment, which actually makes stopping smoother on concrete.

Great grip for beginners
Bought this for my son who is just learning to stop. The soft rubber provides excellent friction without being too jerky. He feels much more confident now.

Good value, easy to install
The rubber feels durable and the screws fit perfectly into the existing holes. Took off one star only because the instructions were just a small diagram, but it was intuitive enough.
Q: How long does the rubber typically last?
A: Lifespan depends on usage frequency and surface type. For average recreational use on pavement, customers report 6 to 12 months of effective braking before replacement is needed.
Q: Will this fit adult-sized inline skates?
A: This specific model is designed for children's skate frames. Adult skates often have different mounting hole spacing, so please check your frame measurements before purchasing.
Q: Do I need special tools to install the screws?
A: No special tools are required. A standard Allen wrench (hex key), which usually comes with the skates or the brake kit, is sufficient for installation.
Q: Are the screws included rust-resistant?
A: Yes, the included mounting screws are treated to resist rust and corrosion, making them suitable for outdoor use in various weather conditions.
Q: Is the rubber hard or soft?
A: The brake block is made of a soft, high-density rubber compound designed to maximize grip while providing a smooth, non-jarring stop for children.
