Authentic Shouguang variety
I've grown gourds before, and these definitely look like the traditional small-waisted wine gourd variety. The hand-rolled description seems to refer to the careful handling of the seedlings. Very satisfied.

Good quality, fast growth
The plants grew very quickly after acclimatization. One leaf was slightly damaged during shipping, but the plant recovered within two days. Great potential for a high yield.

Thriving in containers
I was worried about growing vines in pots, but these are doing amazing. Just make sure you have a sturdy support structure. The leaves are vibrant green and pest-free so far.

Needs lots of water
The plants are healthy, but they dry out very quickly in the summer heat. I have to water them twice a day. If you forget, they wilt immediately. Otherwise, good product.
