Great detail, clearly a replica
As a collector, I appreciate the detail in the engraving. It is obviously not a real coin due to the alloy composition, but it serves its purpose as a display piece or conversation starter very well.

Solid build quality
The reeded edge is nicely done. It feels substantial in the hand. Only giving 4 stars because the patina was slightly uneven on one side, but it adds to the character.

Good classroom visual aid
I use this to show students what older currency looked like without risking a valuable original. The retro aged finish helps illustrate the concept of oxidation and age.

Beautiful aesthetic
It looks exactly like the description. The antique silver finish is beautiful and matches my other vintage decor items perfectly. Fast shipping too.

Perfect for my Western film set
The aging on this alloy replica looks incredibly authentic under camera lights. It has the perfect weight and feel for a prop without being real silver. Highly recommended for filmmakers.

Excellent RPG treasure
Bought a dozen of these for my Dungeons & Dragons campaign. The players loved finding 'ancient silver' in the dungeon. They hold up well to frequent handling.
Q: Is this coin made of real silver?
A: No, this is a handcrafted replica made from aged zinc alloy designed to look like silver. It contains no precious metals and is not legal tender.
Q: Can I use this for magic tricks?
A: Absolutely! Many magicians use our alloy replicas because they have the correct weight and sound for sleight of hand, but are much more affordable than using real currency.
Q: Is it safe for children to play with?
A: Yes, it is safe for general play; however, as with any small object, it poses a choking hazard for children under 3 years old. Please supervise young children.
Q: Does the color rub off on hands?
A: The antique patina is sealed during the manufacturing process. While we recommend washing hands after extensive handling, the finish should not transfer significantly under normal use.
Q: What is the exact diameter of this prop?
A: The coin measures approximately 30.6 mm in diameter, which is consistent with the historical US Half Dollar dimensions it replicates.
