Lovely scent, needs careful handling
The aromatic properties are the highlight here. Just be careful not to drop it as the wood is dense and hard. Overall, a very satisfying purchase.

Exquisite craftsmanship and scent
The aroma of this Thuja wood is incredible. It fills the room with a subtle, calming scent without being overpowering. The density is impressive, and it feels very premium under my teapot.

Great quality, slight color variation
The wood quality is top-notch and the smell is authentic. My only note is that the color is slightly darker than the photos, but I actually prefer the deeper tone.

A wonderful addition to my tea ceremony
This coaster elevates my entire tea setup. The heat resistance is excellent, and the natural oils in the wood seem to protect it well from spills.

Perfect weight and stability
I bought this specifically as a display stand for a small sculpture. The black oil wood is extremely heavy and stable. The grain pattern is beautiful and unique.

Collectible quality
You can tell this is made from old growth wood. The texture is smooth yet retains the character of the grain. Highly recommended for collectors.
Q: How do I clean it if tea spills on the surface?
A: Please wipe up spills immediately with a dry cloth. Avoid using soap or soaking the wood in water, as this can damage the natural finish.
Q: Is the aroma strong enough to affect the taste of the tea?
A: The aroma is pleasant and ambient but subtle. It does not interfere with the flavor profile of your tea when used as a coaster or pad.
Q: Does this wood require any special oiling or treatment upon arrival?
A: No, the coaster arrives pre-polished with its natural oils intact. We recommend simply wiping it with a dry, soft cloth to maintain its luster.
Q: Can this stand support a heavy ceramic teapot?
A: Yes, the high density of the Ancient Taihang Thuja wood makes it extremely sturdy and capable of supporting heavy ceramic or cast iron teapots.
Q: Is each piece unique in terms of grain pattern?
A: Yes, since this is made from natural solid wood, every coaster has a unique grain pattern and slight variations in color, making each piece one-of-a-kind.
