Saved me hours of work

Perfect for AC Installation

Solid construction
Heavy duty feel. The carbide tips are securely welded. I deducted one star because the extension rod thread was slightly tight, but once loosened up, it worked fine.

Good value but needs water cooling
The bit works well and is sharp out of the box. Just remember to use water to cool it down if you are drilling deep holes, otherwise it smokes a bit. Great price for the quality.

A: While you can drill dry for short durations, we strongly recommend using water cooling for holes deeper than 50mm to prevent overheating and extend the life of the tungsten carbide tips.
Q: Does this come with an extension rod for thick walls?
A: Yes, the package includes a standard extension rod that allows you to drill through walls up to 400mm thick when combined with the main bit.
Q: Will this work on reinforced concrete with rebar?
A: Yes, the tungsten carbide tips are designed to cut through light rebar encountered in residential concrete walls. However, for heavy industrial steel reinforcement, a dedicated diamond core bit is recommended.
Q: Can I use this with a regular handheld drill?
A: No, this bit features an SDS Plus shank designed specifically for rotary hammers and electric hammers. It will not fit or function correctly in a standard chuck drill.
