Smooth operation for tile cutting

I adapted this for a wet tile saw setup. The chrome plating seems to resist water exposure well so far. The slider glides effortlessly even under the weight of large porcelain tiles.

Great value, minor packaging issue

Perfect upgrade for my panel saw

A: While the chrome plating offers some corrosion resistance, this product is primarily designed for indoor workshop use. For high-moisture areas, we recommend regular cleaning and applying a light coat of machine oil after use.

Q: What is the maximum recommended speed for the slider?

A: This guide rail is optimized for manual or slow motorized feed rates typical in woodworking and tile cutting. We do not recommend high-speed applications as it may reduce the lifespan of the ball bearings.

Q: Does the package include the mounting brackets for the rail ends?

A: Yes, the standard package includes two end supports (brackets) specifically designed to hold the 12mm shaft securely. All necessary screws for attaching the supports to a base are also included.

Q: How often does the rail need lubrication?

A: For optimal performance, we suggest applying a small amount of light machine oil or lithium grease to the shaft every 3 to 6 months, depending on usage frequency and dust levels in your workshop.

Q: Can this rail be cut to a custom length if needed?

A: Yes, the solid light shaft can be cut to size using a hacksaw or angle grinder. Please ensure you deburr the ends smoothly to prevent damage to the linear bearings during installation.
