Great power, slightly heavy
The steam output is fantastic and makes ironing large batches of shirts very quick. The only downside is that the unit is a bit heavy to move around frequently, but the wheels help. Overall, a solid purchase for home use if you have a lot of laundry.

Very effective on curtains
I primarily bought this to steam my living room curtains which are too bulky for an ironing board. It worked perfectly! The hose is long enough to reach high areas. Took off one star because the instruction manual could be clearer.

Better than my old iron

A: The Jiemei 998S is equipped with an automatic safety shut-off sensor. If the water level gets too low, the device will stop generating steam and alert you with an indicator light to prevent dry burning. Simply refill the tank to resume.

A: The unit typically reaches optimal operating temperature in about 45 seconds to 1 minute, depending on the initial water temperature and voltage supply.
Q: Can this steamer be used on delicate fabrics like silk?
A: Yes, the Jiemei 998S features adjustable steam settings. For delicate fabrics like silk or chiffon, we recommend using the lower steam setting and holding the nozzle slightly further away from the fabric to prevent damage.
