Perfect for outdoor projects

Excellent quality for automotive work
These locking nuts are fantastic. The stainless steel is thick and the nylon insert provides a very secure hold. I used them on my truck's exhaust manifold and they haven't loosened despite the vibration.

Reliable hardware
I run a small repair shop and we go through a lot of fasteners. These dragon caps are consistent in quality. The metal locking version holds up better under high heat than standard nylon ones.

Good value, slightly tight fit
Overall great product. The serrated flange grips well. The only reason for 4 stars is that the threading was a bit tight on the M8 size, requiring a bit more torque to start, but once on, they are solid.

Decent but packaging was poor
The nuts themselves are fine and seem durable. However, the box arrived crushed and some nuts were loose inside. Product is good, shipping packaging needs improvement.
Q: Is the flange serrated on both sides?
A: No, the serrations are located only on the underside of the flange to grip the mounting surface and prevent rotation. The top side is smooth for easy wrench access.
Q: What is the difference between the Nylon and Metal locking versions?
A: The Nylon insert offers excellent vibration resistance for general applications up to 120°C. The Metal locking version is designed for higher temperature environments where nylon might degrade.
Q: Do these come in imperial sizes like 1/4 inch or 3/8 inch?
