Seamless replacement
Swapped this onto my P1P easily. The calibration ran automatically and prints are flawless. No more clogs when switching to high-temp materials.

Essential for engineering filaments
If you plan to print anything other than PLA or PETG, this is mandatory. The stock brass nozzle wore out in two spools of carbon fiber. This one is still going strong after five.

Great upgrade but pricey
The print quality with abrasive materials is excellent now. Only giving 4 stars because the price is a bit steep compared to third-party options, but the reliability is worth it.

Good product, shipping delay
The hotend itself works perfectly and feels very robust. However, shipping took longer than expected which delayed my project start date.
Q: Does this come with a spare nozzle tip?
A: This package includes the complete hotend assembly with the nozzle pre-installed. Spare nozzles are sold separately if you need replacements in the future.
Q: Can this handle PLA printing as well as the standard nozzle?
A: Absolutely. While designed for abrasive and high-temperature filaments, it performs excellently with standard materials like PLA and PETG as well.
Q: Is this compatible with the original Bambu Lab X1 non-Carbon version?
A: Yes, this Extruder 2.0 assembly is fully compatible with the X1, X1C, P1P, and P1S models.
Q: What is the maximum continuous operating temperature?
A: The upgraded assembly is rated for continuous operation up to 300°C, making it suitable for polycarbonate and other high-temperature engineering filaments.
Q: Do I need to recalibrate the flow rate after installation?
A: It is highly recommended to run the full calibration process, including flow dynamics calibration, after installing a new hotend to ensure optimal print quality.
