Rich and deep sound

The high-pitch version is not shrill at all; it has a very musical ring to it. Very easy to strike gently for a soft hum or harder for a loud crash. Highly recommended for beginners.

Great tone, minor cosmetic flaw

The pitch is perfect and very clear. There was a tiny scratch on the rim upon arrival, but it does not affect the sound at all. The included mallet is decent, though I might upgrade later.
