Beautiful craftsmanship from Yangzhou

Authentic traditional sound
Being from Yangzhou, the official production center for Guzheng, this instrument has that authentic traditional sound profile. The bass notes are deep without being muddy, and the high notes are crisp.

Great quality solid wood
As a teacher, I recommend this model to my students. The solid wood construction provides a much better tone than laminated alternatives. The only minor issue was that the bridges needed slight adjustment upon arrival, but that is standard.

Perfect for my first Guzheng

Good for exam preparation
My daughter uses this for her music grade exams. The projection is strong enough for a recital hall. We deducted one star only because the carrying bag zipper felt a bit stiff initially, but it has loosened up with use.

A: Tuning is straightforward with the included wrench. We provide a digital tuning guide via QR code in the manual. Most beginners can learn to tune the instrument within their first few practice sessions.
Q: Is the paint on the surface durable? Will it chip easily?
A: The painted design is sealed with a protective lacquer finish commonly used in Yangzhou craftsmanship. While it is durable for normal use, we recommend avoiding direct sunlight and extreme humidity to preserve the artwork long-term.
Q: Can this instrument be used for professional stage performances?
A: Yes, many customers use this model for exams and stage performances. The solid wood body provides excellent resonance and volume projection required for professional settings.
Q: What is the warranty period for this Guzheng?
A: This instrument comes with a 1-year manufacturer warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship. This does not cover damage caused by improper storage, accidents, or normal wear and tear of strings.
