Excellent quality for the price point
As an intermediate player upgrading from a cheap student model, the difference in tone quality is night and day. The Dunhuang 696 has a warm, balanced sound that holds up well during performance exams. The craftsmanship is solid.

Great sound, minor shipping delay
The guzheng itself is beautiful and sounds amazing. The carved details are elegant. I only gave 4 stars because shipping took a bit longer than expected, but the product quality makes up for it. Very happy with the purchase overall.

Solid beginner choice
Very pleased with this guzheng. The strings are easy to press for a beginner, and the tone is pleasant without being too bright. The only reason for 4 stars is that the bridge placement guide could be more detailed, but online videos helped.
