Perfect stability for my practice sessions
This sandbag is exactly what I needed. The extended width covers the entire base of my Guqin, preventing any sliding during vigorous playing. The Gansu sand feels very fine and settles well.

No more slipping!

Great noise reduction
I live in an apartment and was worried about vibration noise. This pad significantly dampens the sound transmitted to the floor. It is heavy, so be careful when moving it.

It works wonderfully for stabilizing the instrument. Just be aware that it is quite heavy to carry around if you travel frequently to lessons. For home use, it is perfect.
