Great value, needs careful wiring
The module itself is powerful and supports all the bands I need. Just be careful with the voltage supply; it needs a stable 3.7V source to avoid boot loops. Once powered correctly, it's very reliable.

Excellent 4G Cat.1 Performance
Upgraded from an old SIM800L to this 4G module. The latency is significantly lower, and the MQTT throughput is much better for sending sensor data. Highly recommended for modern projects.

Easy integration with STM32
Used this with an STM32F103 board. The UART communication is clean, and the AT commands are standard. Documentation could be slightly more detailed, but online resources fill the gaps easily.

Best bang for your buck
For the price, you cannot beat the features. Full netcom support means it works with any carrier SIM card I tested. The sleep mode current is also quite low, perfect for battery-powered apps.

Solid module for remote monitoring
Deployed five of these for remote weather stations. They have been running for two months without disconnection. The only minor issue is the IPEX connector feels a bit delicate during assembly.

Perfect for IoT Prototyping
This Air780E module works flawlessly with my Arduino Uno. The MQTT connection to OneNet was established within minutes using the provided AT command set. Signal stability is impressive even in fringe areas.
