While marketed for trees, I use these for thick-stemmed flowers like sunflowers and hydrangeas. The clean cut prevents crushing the stems, helping my bouquets last longer.

Great quality, slightly heavy
The build quality is exceptional and the cut is very clean. They are a bit heavier than my old pair, which takes some getting used to, but the leverage makes cutting thick stems much easier.

Solid construction
Very sturdy shears. The safety lock is a nice touch for storage. I deducted one star only because the protective sheath is a bit tight to put on initially, but it fits securely once broken in.
