Great for scrap recycling
This tool makes stripping old extension cords incredibly fast. The hand crank is smooth and the blade adjusts easily for different wire thicknesses.

Does the job well. Just be careful when adjusting the depth; the blades are very sharp. Instructions could be clearer.

Sturdy but requires clamping
Works very well once you bolt it down to a workbench. It moves around a bit if you just try to hold it by hand during heavy use.
Q: Is it safe to use without clamping it to a table?
A: While it can sit on a flat surface, we strongly recommend clamping it down for safety and stability, especially when processing thicker or tougher wires.
Q: What happens if the blade gets dull over time?
A: The blades are made of tungsten carbide for longevity. If they eventually dull, replacement blades are available separately through our parts store.
Q: Can this handle flat speaker wire?
A: Yes, the adjustable guide works well for flat wires like speaker cables. You may need to run them through twice to separate the conductors cleanly.
Q: Can this machine strip aluminum wire as well as copper?
A: Yes, the adjustable blade settings allow it to strip both copper and aluminum wires effectively, provided the diameter is within the 1mm to 25mm range.
Q: Does this come pre-assembled or do I need to put it together?
A: The unit comes mostly pre-assembled. You will only need to attach the handle crank and secure the base to your workbench using the included hardware.
