My go-to set
I have bought this specific model five times now. Consistent quality every time. Highly recommend for students and gigging musicians on a budget.

Rust-proof claim holds up
I live in a humid climate and usually change strings monthly. These Alice strings lasted nearly three months without significant corrosion.

Solid everyday strings
I use these on my practice guitar. The tone is warm, though not as bright as some premium brands. Excellent longevity considering the cost.

Good balance of warmth and clarity
Nice phos-bronze sound. The bass notes are full without being muddy. Perfect for strumming folk songs.

Decent but not amazing
They work fine for casual playing. The high E string felt a bit stiff compared to others I've used, but overall acceptable for the price point.

Great value for beginners
These strings sound surprisingly good for the price. They are easy on the fingers and stay in tune well after the initial stretch.
Q: Are these strings suitable for a dreadnought acoustic guitar?
A: Yes, the AW436 set is designed for standard folk and acoustic guitars, including dreadnought models.
Q: Can I use these on a classical guitar?
A: No, these are steel core strings designed for steel-string acoustic guitars. Using them on a classical guitar could damage the instrument.
Q: How long does the rust-proof coating typically last?
A: While it varies by environment and playing frequency, the coating generally protects against corrosion for 2 to 3 months of regular use.
Q: What is the exact gauge of the high E string?
A: The high E string in this light gauge set is .011 inches.
Q: Do these come with ball ends?
A: Yes, all six strings feature standard brass ball ends for secure attachment to your bridge pins.
