Clean and odorless

Effective solution
Simple design that does exactly what it says. The sticky surface is very potent. Just be careful not to touch it yourself when setting it up.

Good but fills up fast
It works very well, maybe too well. If you have a huge problem, one trap gets full in two days. Make sure you buy the multi-pack.

Works well but needs placement strategy
The attractant is strong. I found that placing them right next to the compost bin worked better than putting them on the counter. Good value for money.

A: While primarily designed for fruit flies, many customers report success with gnats and small drain flies. For severe drain fly issues, cleaning the drain source is also recommended alongside using the traps.
Q: Is there a strong chemical smell?
A: No, the specialized attractant has a very faint scent that is attractive to flies but generally unnoticeable to humans. It does not emit harsh chemical odors.
Q: How long does one trap last before it needs replacing?
A: Each trap remains effective for up to 30 days. However, if the sticky surface becomes covered with insects before then, it should be replaced immediately for best results.
Q: Can I reuse the trap if it's not full?
A: No, the traps are designed for single use. Once the adhesive is exposed or the attractant dries out after opening, its effectiveness decreases. We recommend using a fresh trap for optimal performance.
Q: Is this safe to use around cats and dogs?
A: Yes, the Chongxiaogu trap uses a non-toxic attractant and a sticky surface enclosed in a way that minimizes risk. However, we recommend placing them out of direct reach of curious pets.
