Authentic Zisha quality
You can tell this is real Yixing clay. It ages beautifully over time. Highly recommended for serious bonsai enthusiasts looking for large containers.

Good pot, minor chip on arrival
The pot itself is high quality, but mine arrived with a tiny chip on the rim. It doesn't affect functionality, but I expected perfect condition for the price.

Beautiful color but heavy
I love the deep purple hue of this Zisha pot. It looks stunning in my courtyard. Just be aware it is quite heavy even before adding soil, so place it carefully.

Excellent drainage
My Bougainvillea thrives in this pot. The drainage holes are well-positioned, preventing waterlogging which was an issue with my previous ceramic pots.

Great for Golden Bullet trees
The large diameter accommodates the spread of my Golden Bullet tree perfectly. The unglazed finish gives it a very natural, rustic look.

Perfect for my old stump bonsai
The diameter is exactly as described and provides ample room for the root system of my Red Sandalwood bonsai. The clay quality feels premium and breathable.
Q: Is this pot frost-resistant for outdoor winter use?
A: While Zisha clay is durable, we recommend moving the pot indoors or providing protection during extreme freezing temperatures to prevent cracking.
Q: Can I use this for succulents or just bonsai?
A: Absolutely! The excellent drainage and breathable clay make it suitable for succulents, cacti, and small shrubs, not just bonsai trees.
Q: How do I clean the pot if algae grows on the outside?
A: Gently scrub the exterior with a soft brush and water. Avoid using harsh chemicals or soap, as they can damage the natural patina of the Zisha clay.
Q: Does this come with a saucer or tray?
A: No, this item includes only the flower pot. Saucers are sold separately to allow you to choose a style that matches your decor.
Q: What is the internal depth available for soil?
A: The internal depth is approximately 10 cm, allowing sufficient space for root growth while maintaining the low-profile aesthetic typical for bonsai.
