Solid build quality

No more tripping hazards

Great invisible look
The hardware is almost completely hidden when the door is closed, giving a very clean aesthetic. I deducted one star only because the instructions could be slightly clearer on the offset pivot adjustment, but overall very satisfied.

Good value for money
Works exactly as described. The closing speed is adjustable which is a nice feature. It took me about 45 minutes to install both hinges and the spring. Just make sure your door bottom clearance is correct.
Q: Does this work with double doors?
A: This unit is designed for single leaf doors. For double doors, you would need to purchase two units, one for each leaf, and ensure they are synchronized correctly during installation.
Q: Is this suitable for exterior wooden doors exposed to rain?
A: While the materials are rust-resistant, this specific model is designed primarily for interior use. For exterior doors with direct exposure to heavy rain, we recommend applying additional weatherproofing sealant around the mounting area or checking our outdoor-specific series.
Q: Can this be installed on a door that is already hung, or do I need to remove it?
A: You do not need to remove the door entirely, but you will need to lift it slightly off the hinges to slide the floor spring components into place. Having a second person to help hold the door makes the process much easier.
Q: What is the minimum gap required between the bottom of the door and the floor?
A: For optimal performance and invisibility, we recommend a gap of approximately 10mm to 15mm between the bottom of the door and the finished floor surface.
Q: Can I adjust the closing force if my door is lighter than 80kg?
A: Yes, the Gutai Invisible Door Floor Spring features an adjustable valve that allows you to fine-tune the closing speed and latching force to accommodate lighter doors effectively.
