Solid product
Does the job well. The liquid doesn't evaporate quickly even if left open for a few seconds during testing. Would recommend for industrial use.

The pen works exactly as described. I deducted one star only because the cap can be a bit tight to remove with gloves on, but the liquid quality is excellent.

Q: Is the liquid toxic?
A: The liquid contains formamide and other solvents. It should be handled with care, avoiding eye contact and ingestion. Please refer to the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) included with the product for full details.
Q: Do you sell a kit with all dyne levels from 30 to 40?
A: Yes, we offer a complete test kit containing individual pens for 30, 32, 34, 36, 38, and 40 mN/m levels. You can find it listed under the 'Test Kits' category on our store.
Q: What happens if the liquid beads up instead of spreading?
A: If the liquid beads up within 2 seconds, it indicates that the surface tension of the substrate is lower than the dyne level of the pen. You should try a pen with a lower dyne value to find the correct match.
Q: How long does the liquid last once the bottle is opened?
A: Once opened, we recommend using the pen within 6 months for optimal accuracy, provided the cap is tightly sealed after each use and stored at room temperature.
Q: Can this pen be used on metal surfaces?
A: These pens are specifically designed for non-porous plastic films and coatings. They are not intended for use on metal surfaces as the surface energy dynamics differ significantly.
