Q: Can these pens be used on metal surfaces?
A: Yes, these dyne pens can be used on metal, provided the surface is clean and free of heavy oils. They are commonly used to check cleaning efficacy on aluminum and steel prior to coating.
Q: Is the ink toxic?

Q: What is the difference between the 40 and 42 dyne pens?
A: The number indicates the surface tension in dynes/cm. A 42 dyne pen requires a higher surface energy to wet out than a 40 dyne pen. You select the pen based on the minimum adhesion requirement for your specific ink or glue.
Q: How long does the ink last once the pen is opened?
