Great variety pack
Buying the set with different dyne levels was much more economical than buying individually. All three brands represented here are trustworthy.

Good value, fast shipping
Ordered the Cuiyuan set for lab testing. They work well for general checks. The only reason for 4 stars is that the cap feels slightly loose on one of the pens, but the ink quality is fine.

Essential for our printing line
We switched to the A.Shine ACCU pens for our packaging line and the consistency is excellent. The ink flows smoothly and gives a clear read on our polyethylene films.

Decent but dries out if left open
The pens work as described, but you have to be very careful to cap them immediately. I left one open for a few minutes and it seemed to lose some potency.

Perfect for quality control
Our QC team uses these daily. The distinction between wetting and beading is very sharp, making it easy for new operators to learn quickly.
Q: Can I get a certificate of calibration with this order?
A: Yes, we can provide a batch quality certificate upon request. Please add a note to your order or contact customer service directly after purchase.
Q: Do these pens work on metal surfaces?
A: Yes, Dyne pens can be used on metal surfaces to check for cleanliness or the presence of oils before painting or bonding, though they are most commonly used for plastics and films.
Q: How should I store these pens to maximize shelf life?
A: Store them horizontally in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Always ensure the cap is clicked shut tightly immediately after use to prevent the solvent from evaporating.
Q: What is the difference between the babtest and A.Shine brands?
A: Both meet international accuracy standards. babtest is a German brand known for long-standing industrial use in Europe, while A.Shine is a popular American brand. The choice often depends on regional availability and specific company procurement preferences.
Q: Is the ink toxic?
A: The ink contains solvents typical for surface tension testing. It should be used in a well-ventilated area. Please refer to the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) included in the package for detailed handling instructions.
