Good but requires external power sometimes
The drive works well on my PC, but when I try to use it with older USB ports on my TV, it sometimes doesn't get enough power. Make sure your port provides sufficient amperage or use a powered hub.

Perfect for expanding console storage
I bought the 1TB version for my PS4 and it works flawlessly. Setup was incredibly easy, and game load times are decent for a mechanical drive. Great value for the price compared to buying internal upgrades.

Best bang for your buck
If you need massive storage without paying SSD prices, this is the one. It's not the fastest drive on the market, but for archiving old projects and media libraries, the 2TB option is unbeatable at this price point.

Works great with my Android phone
Was skeptical about using an external HDD with my phone, but with a simple USB-C adapter, it powers up instantly. I can now store thousands of movies and watch them directly on my tablet during travel.

Solid backup solution for work
Using this to back up my graphic design files. The transfer speeds are good enough for large batches of photos. It feels sturdy in the hand, though it does make a slight humming noise when active, which is normal for HDDs.
Q: Can I use this to store and play games on Xbox Series X?
A: You can store and play Xbox One games directly from this drive. For Xbox Series X optimized titles, you can store them on the drive but must move them to the internal SSD or Expansion Card to play them.
Q: Is this drive compatible with Mac computers out of the box?
A: Yes, the drive comes pre-formatted in exFAT, which is readable and writable by both Windows and macOS without needing reformatting.
Q: What is the maximum file size I can transfer?
A: Since the drive is formatted in exFAT, it supports individual file sizes larger than 4GB, making it ideal for HD movies and large disk images.
Q: How loud is the mechanical noise during operation?
A: As this is a mechanical hard drive (HDD), there will be a low-level humming or spinning sound during read/write operations. It is generally quiet enough for office or bedroom use.
Q: Does the package include a USB-C to USB-C cable?
A: The package includes a standard USB-A to Micro-B cable. A USB-C to Micro-B adapter or separate cable may be required for newer devices with only USB-C ports.
