Perfect starter set for my son
My 8-year-old loves this rod! It is lightweight enough for him to cast easily, and the telescopic feature makes it great for car trips to the lake. The reel works smoothly right out of the box.

Great gift idea
Purchased this as a birthday gift. The child was able to start fishing within minutes. The rod feels sturdy despite being designed for children. Highly recommend for introducing kids to the sport.

Good value for the price
Solid construction for a kids' set. We caught several small bass with it last weekend. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that the drag adjustment on the reel is a bit stiff for very small hands.

Durable and fun
We have used this rod multiple times in saltwater near the pier, and it has held up well against corrosion so far. The gun handle gives good grip control for beginners learning to cast.

Decent but short
The quality is fine, but 1.8m is quite short if you are fishing from a high bank. It works perfectly fine from a boat or low shore though. Great for teaching the basics.

Grandkids love it!
Bought two of these for my grandchildren. They are easy to assemble and collapse back down for storage. The blue color looks vibrant and appealing to kids.
Q: Does this come with fishing line pre-spooled?
A: The reel is included, but it typically does not come pre-spooled with line. We recommend adding a 4-6 lb test monofilament line for best performance with this rod.
Q: What is the collapsed length of the rod for travel?
A: When fully collapsed, the telescopic rod measures approximately 55 centimeters, making it very convenient to fit into backpacks or car trunks.
Q: Can this handle saltwater use without rusting?
A: The rod features materials resistant to mild saltwater exposure. However, we strongly advise rinsing the rod and reel with fresh water after every sea fishing trip to ensure longevity.
Q: Is this rod suitable for left-handed children?
A: Yes, the spinning reel included in this set can be easily switched to operate with either the left or right hand by adjusting the handle position.
