Good lens, heavy duty build
The build quality feels robust. It's slightly heavier than my old passive mask, but the balance is decent. The viewing area is wide enough to see the puddle clearly without moving my head too much.

Great value, comfortable fit

Excellent clarity for TIG work

Perfect for shop class
Bought this for our vocational training center. Students find it easy to adjust, and it has held up well to daily abuse. The anti-splash coating makes cleaning off spatter very simple.
Q: Is the lens scratch-resistant for grinding tasks?
A: The outer cover lens is designed to be replaceable and offers good resistance to sparks and minor abrasions, but we recommend using a dedicated grinding face shield for heavy grinding to prolong the life of the welding lens.
Q: Can the headgear be replaced if it gets damaged?
A: Absolutely. The headgear uses a standard mounting system compatible with most replacement straps and ratchets available in the market.
Q: What happens if the solar panel doesn't get enough light?
A: The helmet includes a non-replaceable lithium backup battery that engages automatically when light levels are insufficient, ensuring continuous operation.
Q: Does this come with a carrying case?
A: This specific model is shipped in protective packaging but does not include a dedicated hard carrying case. Cases can be purchased separately.
