Excellent sensitivity
Impressed by the -161dBm sensitivity. I was able to get a fix inside a car near a window, which my old module couldn't do. The compact size makes it easy to integrate into small enclosures.

Reliable positioning
I've tested three different units from this batch, and all of them acquired satellites quickly. The accuracy is within 2-3 meters in open sky, which is standard for this price range. The antenna cable is a decent length too.

Good value, requires configuration
Works great with STM32. Note that you might need to use u-center software to change the baud rate if your project requires higher data throughput. Once configured, the signal stability is excellent.

Solid performance for the price
Using it for a long-range FPV build. It holds a lock well even at moderate speeds. The only minor issue is that the included header pins were slightly loose, but a little extra solder fixed that right up.

Great for Arduino projects
Bought this for a university robotics project. Connected easily to the Arduino Uno using the SoftwareSerial library. The example code provided in the description worked immediately. Highly recommended for beginners.

Perfect for my DIY Quadcopter
I used the NEO-7M version with an APM2.6 flight controller. The lock time was impressively fast, usually under 30 seconds even in my backyard surrounded by trees. The soldering points are well-spaced and easy to work with.
Q: How do I configure the baud rate if I need 115200?
A: You can configure the baud rate using the free u-center software from u-blox. Connect the module to your PC via a USB-to-TTL adapter, adjust the settings, and save them to the flash memory.
Q: Is this compatible with the Pixhawk flight controller?
A: Absolutely. This module uses standard UART/TTL communication and is fully compatible with Pixhawk, APM2.5, APM2.6, and other popular flight controllers.
Q: Does this module come with the antenna included?
A: Yes, the package includes the GPS module board and a passive ceramic antenna with an IPEX connector and cable.
Q: Can I power this directly from a 5V Arduino pin?
A: Yes, the module has an onboard voltage regulator and can be powered directly by the 5V pin on most Arduino boards. It also works with 3.3V logic levels.
Q: What is the difference between the NEO-6M, 7M, and 8M options?
A: The main differences are in sensitivity, update rate, and satellite constellation support. NEO-8M generally offers better performance, faster cold starts, and supports more satellite systems compared to the 6M and 7M versions.
