Best longevity I've experienced
I sweat a lot while playing, and regular strings usually die within a week. These D'Addario XS strings have lasted me over a month without losing their brightness. The coating feels smooth but doesn't slip under my fingers.

Solid choice for humid climates

Worth the extra cost

Great tone, slightly different feel
The sound is fantastic and very clear. It took me a day or two to get used to the slicker feel of the coated strings compared to uncoated ones, but now I prefer it. Highly recommend for gigging musicians.
