Great tone, slightly stiff at first
The tone is fantastic and very clear. They felt a bit stiffer than my usual brand during the first hour of playing, but once stretched, they settled in perfectly.

Incredible longevity and brightness
I've been using these Flamethrower strings for three months now, and they still sound as bright as day one. The double-layer coating really works against rust, even with my sweaty hands.

My new go-to strings
Switched from a major brand to Orphee and I'm not looking back. The high E string doesn't break as often, and the overall sustain is impressive.

Best value for coated strings
You get premium performance without the premium price tag. The anti-rust feature is no joke; I left them on my stand for two weeks in humidity, and zero corrosion.

Solid choice for gigging musicians
I play 4 nights a week, and these hold their tune remarkably well. Lost one star only because the packaging was slightly damaged upon arrival, but the strings were fine.

Smooth playability
The coating makes bending strings incredibly smooth. No finger squeak noise when sliding up and down the neck, which is great for recording sessions.
Q: What is the exact gauge of the high E string?
A: In this Light (10-46) set, the high E string is .010 inches.
Q: Does the coating affect the magnetic pickup response?
A: No, the double-layer coating is ultra-thin and designed to maintain full magnetic interaction for optimal output and tone.
Q: Are these strings compatible with a Stratocaster?
A: Yes, these are standard ball-end strings suitable for most electric guitars, including Fender Stratocasters.
Q: Can I use these on a 7-string guitar?
A: No, this is a standard 6-string set. We do offer a separate 7-string version in the Flamethrower series.
Q: How long do these strings typically last with daily playing?
A: With daily practice of 1-2 hours, users typically report 2 to 3 months of peak performance before needing a change.
